Slice of the week is usually really good! Breaded Steak, Slam Dunk! Italian Beef... very beefy, also very Italian. That's important to some people. I just really enjoy good food and all of the great Italian Ice Flavors are incredible. Fabulous Freddies is nothing short of fabulous. Eat there today, eat there tomorrow, This spot is a must.

Great pizza and breaded steak. For the most part their menu is good, basically fast food but done very well. I enjoy their weekly pizza specials. They come up with some great combinations. The service is quick the people are great. I grew up in Bridgeport I always go back when I'm in town.

This restaurant is a neighborhood staple. I have been going here for about 15 years. The menu has changed but the food has not. Friendly staff and inviting atmosphere. If you come in during the summer months try the cantaloupe Italian ice. If it's winter mango or strawberry are solid choices.

I've been going to Freddie's for a good 20 years, was my favorite place in the whole city to get a combination sandwich. I went back after a couple years and was shocked how much they charge for a sandwich now, $11!!!! They eliminated what I loved and what they were known for, the giant football size combination sandwich, literally the size of a football! I mean this thing was massive and probably weighed like 2-3 Lbs, and you could eat like 2 days. It had tons of beef meat and they would put 2 long char-grilled sausages in too. The price if I remember correctly back then was around $9, that was understandable because it was huge. Now they only have a small regular one, but they left the price of the big one! They think people don't notice what they did and they are trying to scam people! I'll miss the way it used to be, I'm not giving them my business anymore.

This place used to have so much nostalgia for me. After going to Sox games with my dad growing up, he would take me to Freddie's for a combo and a slice. Grown-up and living in the neighborhood now, I will say that I'm really surprised with the quality of food now. It breaks my heart now. Mostly everything is bland and the quality of food is poor. I've tried at least 20 things on the menu over the past 2 years out of pure loyalty and I'm disappointed. Something has been missed along the way. Their business has definitely improved And grown but it's sad to say that with that they lost quality. If you remember old Freddie's, I miss the side window, the wood panel walls with a large box TVs, and smell of cigarettes. Good memories.
