Lawrence's Fish and Shrimp

First time here from NYC. Food was decent. I was expecting more I guess because of all the hype i was hearing. This food taste just like any other regular seafood place. Nothing spectacular. I must say though the hush puppies were pretty good.

The staff was Awesome and friendly. That’s pretty much why i gave 3 stars.

I had the catfish dinner and fried shrimp.

If you're looking for "romantic ambiance" this place is probably not your best choice.

However, with that said, you WILL get the very best fried shrimp in the city of #Chicago, hands down, at literally ANY time, 24 hours a day, 357 days of the year.

The service was excellent, Madelyn K took our order and was very kind warm and friendly. The shrimp was awesome and I have to mention the Supervisor Ms. Green also greeted us and I had told her about the friendly staff. 5 stars 😊

Great venue for fresh fried fish. Open 24/7. Delicious clam strips and frog legs. Speedy service!

Lawrence's Fish and Shrimp delicious. Little hidden, but nice friendly place. Outdoor seating is available. Large flaky fish with great breading. Large tasty fries. If I had one complaint, the fries could have been a little more done. But a great place to eat.
