I was lied to about how long my guest pass that I bought would last. The manager offered me a "deal" for the three days I would be in town, come to find out that the price I paid only covered two days, and was turned away on the third. I feel was intentionally misled by the staff, who acted like pushy salesmen.
Furthermore, I've never seen a gym so unorganized and cluttered. Plates and dumbbells are strewn about the gym, IF they make it to a rack they're not where they belong, and machines often had plates left on them for the next patron to deal with. I saw several employees just walking over unracked plates.
Poor atmosphere, unhelpful and misleading staff, never had a worse gym experience.

DO NOT PAY FOR A MEMBERSHIP HERE. ITS A SCAM. I was on a business trip and they lied to me in person and told me they cancelled my membership right in front of me when they absolutely did not. I am getting recurring payments on my credit card and NO ONE SEEMS TO HAVE THE POWER TO CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP

Joined in 2010. Decreased level of service to point of being charged $150 for a supposed reactivation of old account ( they keep multiple ones under your name that can be reactivated at any point) After mold in showers and a 2 inch roach found running around in women's shower (Sept '17) I cancelled today and am joining another club a couple blocks south of this one. Never one apology once in years from them. At least they got rid of the creepiest of membership salesmen about 1 year ago. And if you think they will make it easy for the cancellation process-no, pretty long and painful.

There are two homeless guys that literally live here. One sleeps barefoot on the couch in the lounge, the other sleeps on the pool deck. Every single day. I'm not sure if this is an LA Fitness Signature or an LA Fitness Shelter...
