I'm obsessed with this threading place! Friendly staff, great work, and reasonable prices. I absolutely love threading because of Kanini, the owner. I moved to Australia 6 months ago, but I've been back to chicago twice now and have made it a point to stop by here while I'm in town. Five stars!!!

Walked into Threading Away on my home from a doctor's apt and all of my stresses melted away with my eyebrow/temple massage that Karmini did after my threading. I'm officially hooked on this place 👍🏼

Got henna done here the other day. There wasn't a book or anything to choose from; the lady just "did" it and didn't ask what I wanted. It's very uneven and random. Looks like a really crappy doodle. Very dissatisfied.

BEWARE!! Not sure how they have an overall rating of 4.5 stars. I normally get my eyebrows waxed in south loop, but today I was in a bit of a hurry and decided to try out this place during my lunch hour. I work a block away and thought it would be convenient. Customer service was less than mediocre. She just told me to sit in the middle chair, she walked over and let the chair back....no warning. My eyebrows are extremely uneven, I could almost cry! Even though I tried to explain what I wanted, I was met with excuse after excuse of how my brows would look awkward if she tried to fix them. She then walked me to the front counter and asked for payment. I didn't want to make a scene so I paid. I WILL NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, let them thread anything again. They could have at least waived my fee for not being satisfied. OMG, awful.

Kamini is fantastic! She takes time and gives attention to how you want your brows. She's so friendly. The place is clean and quaint. Centrally located. A little pricey but worth it.
