I was certified here and it's been my one stop shop for classes, gear and most importantly advice.
The main lady that is always near the back counter is just full of useful advice, honest tips and a love for diving.
They just do everything right.

Kyle was a fantastic instructor. We had a small but great group and he was able to adapt his teahcing style to each and every one of us. He was very patient, thorough and friendly. Excellent experience for those venturing in the world of scuba diving. The facilities were good and the indoor pool water temperature was perfect for the class in the middle of Chicago's winter. Highly recommend them.

First, I really appreciated Jean's (the owner) willingness to help me get along with the classes, the pool sessions, and the open water course - considering the fact that I was an exchange student in Chicago for few months. The Underwater Safaris team and Jean help were outstanding!
Second, the pool sessions instructor - Mike! amazing guy!! I think that most (if not all) of us, 8 students in the class, had a strong consensus regarding the fact that he knows exactly how to approach people with scuba diving material and how to teach in a simple, straightforward and easy to grasp way. Mike, you are awesome...!!!
Thirdly, the open water instructors - Adam, Mark, and Frank - WOW !!! Totally with straight continue to Underwater Safaris trend, we got 3 marvelous and remarkable instructors. Super professional, nice, calm, patient and most important fun to learn from and work with.
The overall experience of the course, the open water diving, and Underwater Safaris was very special and unique for me and I will always remember you guys :)

Jean and her team are absolutely top notch. I was very nervous about diving at first, and their open water course was outstanding.
