Dive bar with all the fixin's! Good drinks, friendly and helpful staff, plenty of space (inside and out) to chill with friends or a quiet intimate drink if desired.

An awesome dive bar located on the West side! This place is the kind of joint full of regulars with a real Irish feel. It's dark, unpretentious, and you can still smell the faint smell of cigarettes from back in the smoking days. The vibe in dive bars is always awesome, and this one is no different. The drinks are SUPER cheap, 5 jack and cokes for $18!!!
Be warned, it's in a less than desirable part of town, but there is plenty of free parking and it is pretty centrally located and would be a great place to grab a drink if you are in the area and are not looking for the craft cocktail scene.

Great fish sandwich, cheap drinks, & excellent bartenders.
After I dropped out of college for the second time, this was my bar of choice. I'm from the Westside & I couldn't go in without seeing someone I know, or was related to - which is pretty comfy, truth be told. When I went back to college for the third time, the bar staff was so proud that they bought me a pitcher of Guinness and pitcher of Harp so that we could have a couple half and halves on the house.
You can sit out on the patio, drink a few beers and shoot the breeze in a way that is becoming increasingly rare at bars in general.
This is a great bar.
