I saw Dr Tempel for a T678 disk issue that was impacting my lower body. He listened, asked great questions, and really cared. He is wildly responsive when things come up. Chrissy in his office is an expert in dealing with insurance companies and other hospitals. Great work.

My appointment was to see Dr Horne the neurosurgeon . I have a Tarlov cyst that is on s2. I have had 2 mris, a CT scan, two lumber xrays, an emg, . Dr Horne when I asked about the cyst totally dismissed me and stated no one operated on them. Then he show me the xray and the cyst, he must have thought I was totally stupid as that was my mri, not the lumbar xray. When I asked him the size of the cyst he said small, I said no, I'd like to know the actual size, he didn't answer. It wasn't until I was at the checkout desk that I learned from the staff the dr didn't have my xrays nor the emg results that were done a week previously and that he ordered! I am beyond livid had my Dr order the results for me so I have all copies of all tests to look for another Dr. I found Dr. Hone rude, non caring , I would not recommend him to anyone!.

I had to have a Lumbar Procedure done..I had spoken to Emily at this office.The arrangements were mad to have this done at the office by B North..We arrived at the office about one hour early..All of the ladies at the f not d so we're super friendly and put us at ease..Once I was taken to the back rooms all the men and ladies that were working with me showed us the highest professionalism,courtesy and friendliness..Dr. Orlando came into the room and we spoke about what he was going to be doing and how long it would take.I highly recommend Mayfild and Dr. Orlando.

I am under the impression that Mayfield has some of the best docs in the business -- and I have benefited from one of them. However, recent experience suggests their philosophy around customer care seems wanting. My most recent doctor came across as indifferent, inattentive, not at all curious or probing in his questions. On a return visit, I had to remind him of what tests had been done. He clearly had never looked at the exhaustive patient information sheets you are required to fill out where I had some other health issues that could have been factors. I had to correct him twice on the location of the pain. He suggested I go to a podiatrist for the numbness in my foot even though I told him several times that the numbness was coincident with severe localized back pain. I walked out feeling like it was a waste of several thousand dollars out of my pocket. CEI, by contrast, is equally if not more efficient in their patient routing and process, but you feel you are in good hands in every step.

Mayfield Brain and Spine is the best place to go if you have any back, spine or brain diseases or disorders. Their Doctors are world renowned and the medical office staff is so friendly. I had surgery by Dr. Christopher McPherson, and after 4 weeks, I felt like a new person. They have offices conveniently located throughout the greater Cincinnati area. I highly recommend them!
