The Eagle had a 1.5 hour wait, so we gave this place a try. WOW! Sushi was unbelievable, and the drinks were awesome. There was a pineapple jalapeño drink that was very memorable.

Awful service.. one of the worst I've ever seen. After taking 15 to 20 minutes for a draft beer. We literally resorted to just ordered cans and bottles of beer and yet it was still taking over 20 minutes to come to the table. The last round of drinks never even came at all before we just gave up and left.
Both server and manager were not apologetic. Waiter even tried to tell us he was helping to space out our appetizers and sushi, then proceeded to bring both out at the same time. The manager said they weren't expecting a crowd even though there were 2 conventions going on that weekend. It's like they just sat there telling us how inept they are as a team yet never once actually apologizing.
I can understand delays for food, but to bring out an over priced can of beer takes no effort. Instead the waiter seemed to be more interested in chatting up a female coworker than bringing us anything.
This place is a disaster.

Stopped by for happy hour. The outdoor patio seating was quaint although they should have played up the Japanese theme more. Food selection was small but good and prices were reasonable.

Wonderful atmosphere. Delightful outdoor area...so brightly colored, romantic glow in the evening. Beautifully decorated inside and out. Happy hour has unique options at affordable prices to taste lots of things!

Ive eaten here a couple times, includinf takeout for work.
I tried all sliders and sushi which were excellent. Both times I ordered during lunchtime, and got the 'lunch menu discount'. We ended up paying $20 per person for food, and most of us were still hungry. Again, food was excellent. But portions and prices are somewhat ridiculous, even at happy hour pricing.
