This was my first choice today, but had to go to Nada instead. When I went here at lunchtime, the place was closed. It was closed when I went there in early February too. I learned from the restaurant staff next door that the owner had fallen ill, and was forced to close suddenly. I hope the owner is doing well, and can open back up soon. I hate to see this place close permanently. It always had great food at reasonable prices. Get well soon Trattoria Roma Owner.

Small and quiet place right in the heart of downtown. But that is the only positive thing I can think to say. Found food to be mediocre, service was just so-so, and I left there feeling a bit unsatisfied.

We just had appetizers at the bar which were very good. What was weird was there was no bartender so we really had no service. Plus they would not let us take our unfinished bottle of wine. Only place in downtown Cincinnati that must have a license issue or maybe the staff doesn't know the law which is more likely. Too many other good places around. No need to come back.
