Very good food! I would have rated 5 star except you have to pay for a second (small) basket of chips while waiting for your food. They said it's because of the way they prepare the chips - which was good - but just seems a little weird to me.

They renovated and expanded their restaurant and it looks amazing! They added a bar and a patio! East Price Hill is lucky to have this authentic Mexican restaurant right in our neighbourhood.

Addition to original post - Sometimes the pride of the owner is obvious in an establishment. This is a great example. The expansion was done very well. Simple inviting decor and great food. Visit and enjoy.

Excellent just love the food and the family that prepares it. Best I have ever had, and I have been eating Mexican for over 40 years, starting eating it in Alaska. If you have not been to Vera Cruz you have missed the freshest best Mexican food ever
