A Tremont staple. The Mac n cheese is great and all the appetizers are fantastic. Drinks are really good and service is usually awesome. One of our favorites.

AMAZING. Thank you to our server William for helping us as we had never been to Lolita before and it was my husbands birthday and how special they made it for him. William took the time to go over the menu and offer suggestions that would allow me to order without items I did not like or allergic too. The food was awesome and we had a wonderful time. William even served my husband the berry sorbet for dessert as "on them" for his birthday. How wonderful and it was delicious and cleansed our palate. Having drove 3 hours one way it was worth it and would love to come back again. Thank you Mr Symon for the selection on the menu, the experience. your server William. See you again soon.

Matt was our server. He is AWESOME. Really passionate, professional and friendly.
The food here is out of this world. Definitely a great place to eat. Really affordable upper-class establishment.

My wife said it, and I agree: This is one of the best high-end restaurants we've been to lately. I'll admit, I wasn't a big fan of our waitress--she was not on top of refills, only offering a refill on my Coke after I had already finished my dessert and was getting ready to leave, and, as weird as it might be to say, I just got a poor vibe from her overall, even though on the outside she appeared nice--but the food was pretty much flawless.
We started off with the Charred Eggplant Dip. I hate eggplant, and only got it at the suggestion of my wife (who loves it), but I couldn't stop devouring the stuff. It was really, really good. For entrees, my wife got the Hanger Steak, and called it one of the best steaks she's ever had. Certainly some high praise! I got the Grilled Quail, something I've never tried. I must say, the waitresses' description of it was pretty spot-on, and the sauce it was served with was unbelievably delicious. I wouldn't hesitate to get it again.
I must also say I was expecting to to be much more expensive than it was. We shared an appetizer, each got two of the most expensive entrees on the menu, and we both got dessert, and the initial bill (including tax, but not tip) was under $100. I also liked that their entrees come with a side dish. Many of the more expensive restaurants are entirely a la carte, so that was definitely a welcome surprise. I certainly wouldn't consider this a "cheap" restaurant by any stretch of the imagination, but I was absolutely starved going in, and left full, so it's in line with what you get. That's not always the case with restaurants like this.
Definitely recommended.

First time at Lolita's for a business dinner with some colleagues. Service was sub-par for a place of this caliber and reputation. Our order for appetizers wasn't taken until almost 25 minutes after we had been seated. And, they didn't arrive until another 20-25 minutes. No explanation was provided. We had to ask about the specials. Our entrees arrived without the sides, which weren't brought to the table until we were half-way done with the entrees; no excuse or apology presented. We weren't asked about dessert or shown the dessert menu. No one in our group was wowed by the food. The overall level of service put a damper on the evening. I submit that maybe our expectations were unreasonably high after experiencing Lola's which was excellent, from the standpoint of both food and service. And, maybe it was an "off" night for the establishment or just for our table. In any case I think another visit is in order, for nothing more but to prove that our first impression was hopefully not the last.
