i would highly recommend Dr. Newman and his staff. They are very friendly, caring and competent! Coming from someone who used to be scared of going to the dentist, this is saying something! Give them a call.

I recommend Dr. Newman to friends and co-workers all the time. He always explains everything very well (I tend to ask lots of questions lol), there is never a long wait in the lobby, and he has a great "bedside manner". I have even walked in without an appointment because a molar literally broke in pieces on my lunch break one day, he saw me within 15 minutes of me walking in, he fixed me up with a temporary filling to hold me over for a few days until i was able to come in for a full appointment. I will continue to recommend his services to anyone i hear in need of any dental work.

Not a big fan of going to the dentist, but who is. That said, I appreciate the group attending to my needs in a professional manner. The cleaning is always good and recently discovered the need for a root canal. He handled getting me to a good doctor and measured and installed the temporary then permanent crown. Again, not a good dentist patient, but this was a seemless and painless process.

I've been going to Columbia Smile Center forever!!! Not only are they professionals, but they're courteous, pleasant, and most of all they know what they're doing and go above and beyond to alleviate the fear of the going to the dentist. Your experience will be one of the best you've encountered, You are respected, included in your care, and made to feel comfortable by the reception you get from the time you arrive until the time you depart. The hygienists are great and the dentist has the best smile and greeting to brighten even the dullest day. All the members of the staff work as a team which makes it an awesome experience. You will go home w/an at-ease experience and awaiting your next visit to achieve the goal of the perfect teeth and/or smile. Thank you Dr. Newman and staff...

I'm happy to say Dr. Newman's office seems to have changed its review incentive policy to include all reviews.

I'd like to give Dr. Newman and his staff 5 stars. From check-in to leaving, everything was great. I was seen on time, everyone was great to talk to, there really wasn't anything to complain about during the visit.

The problem I have is with a card that was placed in my goody bag at the end of the visit. The card was to remind me to give them a 5-star review, for which I would be entered into a drawing for a free teeth whitening (see picture). To me, the card reads that only 5-star reviews have any incentive for the drawing.

Instead of making incentives for 5-star reviews, I'd like to see Dr. Newman's office encourage all reviews. I think simply asking people what they could improve on at the end of each visit would be productive for his office and garner a lot of 5-star reviews anyway. And if anyone did have a problem, I think most folks would be happy to withhold a review until the office had a chance to fix it.
