My business has most of our coverages through this agency. I think there is some confusion in the other reviews. This is an agency, they do not handle claims. Claims are handled by the individual insurance companies. Through over 20 years they have been very helpful with finding the best coverages at the best price for our business. When we have had a claim they have made sure we received the response from the insurance company to deal with the issue.

I have Travelers insurance through Russell-Massey for my house, cars and boat. Ever time I have called on them they have been exceptional! I have recommended them to all of my friends over the years.

I have a policy with a $1,000 deductible. With the storm I had to make my first claim ever after 20 years of home ownership.
They told me that I was required to remove all the debris - directly conflicting my policy.
They held all repairs hostage - a tree crashed through my roof - for almost a month, until I finally broke and paid the $3,000 they told me I owed.
To this day, they have refused to tell me why I owe that much.
They have an open fraud complaint against them with the SC Dept of Insurance.
Stay away - stay far away.
