Hite's Bar-B-Que has the BEST barbecue I have ever eaten. If you are looking for a place that has amazing barbecue, Hite's Bar-B-Que is the place to go. The people that work there do a wonderful job and provide great service. Their prices will surely make you happy. This is my number one favorite place to eat, and if you come here, it will become yours too!

Sauce was overwhelmingly mustardy, and I like mustard based sauces. Meat was "stewing" in the big chrome catering pans. Didn't live up to the hype for me.

I have been coming to (John) Hite's BBQ since about 1960. My grandfather introduced me to what I consider the finest South Carolina whole hog cooked low & slow. Try their "Rib cut", which is the rib with about 1/4# of tenderloin attached. It is beyond question their best, and I am a SC BBQ Association senior judge.
