Typical tasty German food in a very casual homey kind of atmosphere, steady for a Tuesday night and maybe a second server on the floor would have been greatly appreciated ,let's begin.... I understand by all means this is a casual restuarant and everything on the menu is priced appropriately , little things like coffee creamers and maybe vanilla ice cream for strudels - warm bread served with room temperature butter do make a difference, I think they might have microwaved my strudel because it was rather rubbery maybe left in the micro too long?? all that said I would recommend this establishment and I would definitely dine there again skip dessert maybe even the coffee but do go for the entrees they are amazing!! bring cash as they don't accept cc.

I had a great time. I also enjoyed my schnitzel. This is a nice place to go. I highly recommend it. If you go make sure to try the Apple strudel.

I read the reviews, and the only negative comments were wait time and not taking credit cards. Well here you go...wait time...I waited a bit, but you know what they were working and talking to guest. When I was sat, and had my dinner, guess what the owner took his time and chatted with me as well. That's German culture. This isn't fast food. If you want to be sat down, served and tossed out the door, go to a chain restaurant where that is accepted. Not taking credit cards, well come back next time with cash. In today's age, maybe a little inconvenient, but not enough to lower the review. Food was great, atmosphere was fantastic, and beer was cold. Made me miss Germany!! I'm an out of towner, and will definitely be back...with cash.😜

I just love coming here, this place always gives you a worm and welcoming feeling that makes you feel right at home. The food is amazing, and they serve the most amazing shnizel I ever had.
Note that they only take cash( *or checks ) so make sure to stop at the ATM before you get there.

Best food ever. Very personable staff. If you like German food do not miss this place. Brought me back to my childhood eating the spaetzle and potato salad. Wish they were open on Sunday and Monday as I am leaving on Tuesday. I would eat lunch and dinner there every day. Please open a restaurant in the Hilton Head - Bluffton area of SC.
