Recently my Grandmother invited me to The Secret Garden for Sunday dinner. I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into, but, I decided to give it a shot and boy am I glad I did! The food is incredible and they have everything you'd want from fried chicken, meatloaf and cubed steak to rutabagas, mac 'n cheese, collard greens, and stewed squash. Thinking about dessert, the peach cobbler is amazing! Mr. Poole, the owner, is an incredibly kind man who makes you feel like you are the most important person in his restaurant. Please send this man your business, he's as good as it gets!

Very authentic home cooked southern food! Don't be afraid to ask what is in the back - we got pecan pie made from pecan from his land that way! Every vegetable he uses is from his farm.
