I agree with the other review. It's basically a rave location that is located yards away from apartments and constantly has loud music on the weekends. I appreciate the good they do for the community in the art world but the loudness really needs to go.

A rarity in Columbus: an artist-run space that is welcoming but also uncompromising in its artistic mission. The events are diverse—from one-night openings to all-night dance parties—but M I N T always has its sights aimed very high. I've long felt that what was missing in the contemporary arts scene in Columbus is a space that lives somewhere between the institutionalized avant-garde of the Wexner Center and the diy grit of a punk house. M I N T fits the bill nicely. Those who remember Skylab/The Shelf (at their peak), the old BLD space, or Firexit events will find this space familiar, with more than a touch of Bushwick style.
