In my opinion I think that Dr Shirley is just this side of a quack. I write this some 5 months after my mothers death. She went to see Dr Shirley and was diagnosed with Bladder cancer. The dr informed her that he got all the cancer in a biopsy. Then he tells us it's going to require a radical Cystectomy. He tells us after the surgery that he got it all. My mom never recovered. She continued to get worse as Dr Shirley (smugly) kept saying he couldn't figure out why she was hurting. Well after she was finally taken to Little Rock they discovered that the Squamous cell cancer had gotten to the rest of her body. The Dr's there told me that they had no idea why he would have removed the Bladder because once this particular type of cancer got out there was no stopping it. In short my mother suffered needlessly for 4 months when she could have died with some sort of dignity because this Dr was inept and an egomaniac. Please do not take your loved ones to this Dr. Drive somewhere ANYWHERE but to the Conway Urlologists.
