Have enjoyed Cracker Barrel for several years now. Went this morning expecting another good breakfast. Apparently they have a new chef! The food was horrible. Grits was more like mashed potatoes and I went through 3 napkins to soak up the liquid on my plate that all my food was floating in (assuming it was grease). The gravy bowel, well, lets just say that I could turn it upside down and it stayed in place. Service staff was very nice as always. Food, not so much.

My waitress was excellent! The people here are very friendly and the Old Timers breakfast was great. Very good way to start the morning!

My Mother and I attempted to eat at Cracker barrel this afternoon. She and I ordered this new pecan chicken dish. I and ((so)) over cooked. Also whomever made the cornbread miffins used salt when they should've used sugar. They weren't sweet like they're normally. At this point I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND this dish. We noticed the postions every are smaller than they use to be. The service was awesome. After I spoke to the manger he was so nice to take care of our 30.00 bill.

The FRENCH DIP sandwich is a must try. And a MUST to keep on the menu. I've had 3 in just two weeks! Best sandwich ever! The manager said it was a temporary item. They're crazy if they don't serve it all the time!!!

I love their clothes and seasonal assortment of decor for your home. The food was just average. My husband got one of the special campfire grilled dinners wrapped in foil. He chose the chicken dinner. When he opened the foil packaging the food was literally swimming in grease. It was served on 2 plates because the grease was also under the plate the food was placed on. Definitely not healthy or worth buying unless you loved food dripping in grease. If you love grease, this meal is for you. My food was just average. Some people love Cracker Barrel, but we are not fans. To be fair, we have never eaten their breakfast meals so they may be good.
