I ordered a 24oz shake. Once I walked out of the door, sunlight illuminated the container, revealing it was only 3/4 full. I went back I and questioned the gal that helped me as to why it wasn't a full shake, but it was full price. Her response was 'we ran out of that ice cream.' She offered to blend it with a different flavor. I requested a refund and left.

I have stopped into Julie's on occasion for a quick lunch or a snack, but had never ordered from them before. However, my daughter ordered a birthday cake from them this past February and it was absolutely beautiful, so I decided to try them when I needed a cake. I ordered a 2 tiered cake for a retirement dinner, and took a picture with me. I picked the cake up today, and it was lovely. It was as close to the picture as they could make it, and I was very pleased. However, my first concern was noting that the cake was not in the cooler with the other cakes, but sitting out on a counter; it had cream cheese frosting and this is July. I thought that a little odd, but figured they were the professionals, not me, so I took the cake and carefully drove to my destination, less than five miles away; I followed the instructions on the waiver they had me sign: I drove slowly, didn't hit any bumps, no sudden stops. I drove like I was hauling nitroglyerine. When I arrived and brought the cake inside it was ruined. The soft frosting on the top tier had turned loose (it wasn't even adhered to the side of the cake) and slid off onto the bottom tier. And yes, it was the side that had the writing on it. I was so sad that I cried. This was a $93 cake, although it was tasty it was very ugly.

I have used Julie's several times. But this time it was not a good experience. I ordered a double layered choc cake with creme cheese icing and 6 cake pops. Almost 50 dollars. The pops were dry and hard. The cake decorations were disappointing and the cake tasted like it was frozen. I was not happy with the results.

Perfection dipped in delicious sugar and decorated in splendor. Love this place! Me. Julie treats everyone with kindness and respect. Portions are huge! Prices are fair.
