Had asked our server to leave off a mayo mixture that had onions in it because I can't eat them. Came out with the mixture still on it 3 times and took 20 minutes of waiting each time. My boyfriend was done eating before the 2nd wrong sandwich even came out. Our server was not attentive and took 15 minutes just to swing by our table to check on us; somebody else actually had to fix the problem the 3rd time because our server was nowhere to be found. Our server was just fine with other nearby tables she had but had a blunt attitude with us from the start. It was not busy, no reason for this to have happened 3 times, wasn't going to stick around for the 4th. I've worked in food for 6 years and I've never seen someone mess up something so simple 3-4 times in a row as a server or cook.

Some good shakes, fries, and burgers. They offer some Petit Jean hot dogs as well. If you want a 1950s...esque diner, this is not a bad option.

I hesitate to give a 3 stars. Husband and I went on to eat and observed the following--dirty. Bathroom was awful, tables not busted , kitchen area dirty stuff on the floor and wait staff walking around!! Husbands drink never refilled, burger was awful!!! On the bright side my fried pickles were good!!! Last trip :-(

Service was quick and they were so friendly! The food and ice cream was delicious! My 1 year old,who is very shy, was completely fascinated with our server. The manager that was there at the time even gave my car a jump when it wouldn't start and I was 50 miles from home and brought us ice water while we waited. Definitely cannot WAIT to go back!!!

The Purple Cow is just your regular hamburger joint and it sits right across from a college campus bringing in the younger crowd. But, you'll find an eclectic mix of college kids, families and oldsters. The staff is extremely welcoming and warm, the ambiance fun. The dessert menu offers an abundance of sure to widen your hips goodies, plus one aptly named Purple Cow ice cream...which is actually purple vanilla ice cream accompanied by sure to please your purple sweet tooth! Come on in, you'll be tickled...purple!
