I am sad to learn that the Smokehouse has closed for good. :( We have eaten there since they opened. The menu had a wide variety of choices and was a great place to grab dinner in a hurry. Their BBQ Pork sandwich was as close as you could get to the old Shack in Little Rock, partly because the previous owner was from that family. When he retired and sold the business it started going down hill, but it seemed to get back on track. However, the service was lacking but the food was still good, mainly because Mikey the cook was still there. They also had the best old-fashioned grilled hamburger around. Yes, I am very sad that they are closed.

Food was good, but saw several cleanliness issues, especially around the kitchen, that will keep us from returning. Too many other great BBQ options in Conway.

Food is always good. I do not live in Conway but this is my go to place after the "Women Can Run 5K". Luv that you added the sausage platter. Save room for the peanut butter pie.

This was our first visit. I ordered the sausage plate because it was labeled "the best you've ever tasted" or something like that. The first bite WAS the best. The third bite was cold. It was like eating a cold hot dog. The portions were generous. My companions had no problems. The staff seemed to enjoy their own company. It was lunchtime Tuesday and very little business. We don't plan on returning.

We haven't eaten here in awhile because the service was so bad last time, but we were desperate for some barbecue. We were delighted to find that the servers they have now are excellent...we were immediately greeted by a blonde girl, and our waitress, a brunette, was very friendly. She checked on us often, got us refills, and made sure we were happy with our (very, very tasty, very very fast) food.
Keep these two girls (and give them raises) and we'll keep coming back!
I highly recommend the onion rings, and their sweet potato was perfectly cooked. I also appreciated that their sauce was on the table, not already on the sandwich, so I could customize how much or how little I wanted.
