Located in the old Nick & Sam's establishment, the interior had been slightly upgraded. The food is actually very good. The brisket was awesome.

Service:
Awful! Wait staff could not remember who had ordered what and didn't seem to know much about the menu. Took 45 min to pay out.

Drinks:
FIRE the mixologist! Their "creative twist" on margaritas ruined the drink menu. Flavors do not mesh on most specialty drinks and most are too sweet and heavy on syrups. Sometimes simple is best, or just simply know what flavors go well together. : /

Food:
A joke.

Atmosphere:
Decent atmosphere but really geared towards the "typical uptown" bar scene.

Overall:
Don't waste your time or money. Very sub-par food and drinks and there are so many alternative options.

Our group went for a birthday dinner on Friday night. Very slow service. Multiple mistakes with drink orders. Food took 2 hours to come out. An hour before they even asked for our food order. Took about an hour to pay the bill. The bill was wrong. Overall: very disappointing. First time here. Will be my last.

I'm confused what Dos Jefes is trying to be. The street tacos are cheap and great (except during brunch when they jack up food prices). They serve sushi and other seafood items (why?). The waitresses are scantily clad but not quite as intentional as Hooters or Twin Peaks. The brunch is only great because you can get a $10 carafe of mimosas which has an entire bottle of wine in it. The food for some reason is a lot more expensive (and smaller portions) for brunch.
