Based on the reviews here and the pricing on their website, I dragged a friend here for lunch. It is in an industrial part of town and looks iffy, but we were pleasantly greeted at the door. We ordered burgers and they were very good. I can't wait to go back and try their other stuff. They have a wide variety on the menu.

Don't let the humble exterior fool you. The food is very good and relatively inexpensive, and the staff is super friendly. You can tell that they really do care about whether you enjoy your meal.
It's obvious that they put a lot of care in to the food preparation. There are two specials every day, usually to a theme of some sort (Italian one day, Mexican another, etc.) When you walk in, you have a chance to view them directly at the counter. There are also many of the more standard diner type offerings on their menu.
You can expect to pay around $11 for the special, a bottomless glass of iced tea (their sweet tea is mildly sweet, BTW) and a dessert.
The atmosphere is about what you'd expect from a start-up; slightly worn booths and tables, but the room is light and friendly. There's a television in the dining area, but the volume is usually low enough that it's not a bother.
