Excellent, fast service and the food is incredible. The brisket nachos are a must try. You can't go wrong with any side or entree.

Ordered a sampler platter of KC Burnt Ends, sliced Moist Brisket, and sliced Turkey: the Burnt Ends were not burnt nor ends, which was very disappointing. But the sliced brisket (moist is what I ordered) was delicious, and the turkey was, well, turkey, but moist and not dry.
The house sauce helped the turkey a lot.
Yeast rolls are amazing! As was the service.

Love Lakewood's brisket, salads (kale), wings... I appreciate the high quality ingredients - healthy choices... service is wonderful too!

We had a great time and a great meal at Lakewood Smokehouse this evening. The food is outstanding, notably the fried pickles! My husband had the baby back ribs, which could have been a bit more tender but had a terrific flavor. I had the two meat platter with pulled pork and poblano cheddar sausages. The portions were generous and we took home leftovers for tomorrow. I especially loved the bloody mary, one of the best I've ever had.
We arrived around 7 pm and the place was busy and lively but we were able to get seated at a booth right away. It seems to attract a lot of neighborhood regulars. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, although they were not very knowledgeable about the selection of beers when my husband asked for a recommendation.
Overall it was fun and we will definitely be back.

Never going back. Said that 3 months ago. Thought I'd give it another chance. But I had the same exact experience. Shocked this place is still open.
