I liked this spot. The sign for 5 buck margaritas if you are on the patio caught my attention as I was walking by and I decided to give it a try. The margaritas were great, the fajitas were great, portions were great. My server was very good as well. I took off 1 star off because the chips and salsa wasn't the best. I eat Mexican a decent amount, and the chips and salsa have to be on point to get 5 stars

The evening was absolutely delightful and the food was delicious.
Hilario, you were so attentive to our needs prior to the dinner as well as during the dinner and I cannot express my thanks enough to you. You made a stressful situation so smooth and stress-free for me.

We just had the most AMAZING experience!! We came in looking for a simple meal and to watch our (out of state) team play. We came in after a full day of traveling and touring the city. We read that this was a tourist trap and were somewhat worried. David greeted us at the door and we asked about the menu as well as the game. Due to his welcoming personality and helpfulness, we decided to give it a try. Jessica the maître d' put us at a table where we could see the game and even turned it up enough for us to hear. Our waitress (I don't remember her name) was EXCEPTIONAL! She took care of us, filling our drinks before we asked and making sure we had everything we needed. Let's talk about food - it was AMAZING and satisfying! My husband and I shared the fajitas and my son had the corn dog. After our meal we told her we were celebrating our son's birthday. She made sure we got cake and ice cream as well as a song!
My husband and I own a well known restaurant in Memphis so we are usually somewhat critical of the places we visit. I can honestly say we left extremely happy and satisfied!! We will be back during our vacation!

Highly recommended! RJ's serves quality authentic food that is so delicious! The service is light years ahead... Roberto is (hands down) the best server my husband and I have ever had at any establishment! Ask for him and tip him well, he is so humble and deserving! We LOVE this place and will certainly visit again. It's worth the trip from North Carolina! #teampringle

The chips taste like home made corn tortillas! Service was great, even though the lunch rush was starting. I had the 'Salmon del Mar" a smoky piece of salmon topped with cheese and mushrooms. I'm not sure I've ever had salmon with cheese, but it was pulled off well. Only complaint was the very last bite of salmon was charred, so I got a bitter after taste after what was an excellent meal. The asparagus could have been seasoned a bit more as it was a tad bitter as well. Overall, was a good experience.
