Such a great place. Friendly and warm reception team. Dr. Manny is a wonderful guy, he spent all morning taking care of my cat who had been feeling very ill all night. The team at VCA Lakewood got our Gus comfortable and back home quickly. Excellent rating! Definitely recommend!

VCA in Lakewood is the best. So very caring and compassionate. We've been taking our dogs and cat there for nearly 10 years.

My dog Calvin and I had a Wonderful experience at the VCA vet. Dr Manny Yzaguirre and the staff were very helpful to us and the issues that Calvin was having. Calvin had some issues that no other vet had ever fixed and they fixed him up. We are new to the Dallas area and really enjoyed the southern hospitality. Thank you!

My partner and I have been bringing our cats here since about 2003. From the front desk people to the vet techs to the docs themselves, everyone is professional and very kind. They clearly love animals and are great with people, too. And they keep the place spotless.

We've seen Dr Yzaguirre for most of these years, and if you're someone who likes to know all the possibilities of what may be wrong (before embarking on tests) and various treatments, he's your vet. He's extremely knowledgeable, very kind and gentle with animals, and has a wonderful "bedside" manner with pet guardians.

VCA clinics do cost more than many other vets, but we trust them implicitly to work in our cats' and our best interests. A few years ago I tried to save a little money a couple of times by trying other clinics and didn't like them even half as much, so went right back to Dr Y at VCA Lakewood.
