I have been going to Brilliant Smiles for close to 20 years. They have always been really great with me. If there is something my insurance doesn't cover... I have usually up to 30 days to pay. I have referred many friends and family...no complaints. When I had my son..they were all excited for my new arrival and welcomed him to every appointment. Everyone at the office knows my name, my sons, and his father. I will continue to be seen at and refer others to Brilliant Smiles for years to come.

We at Brilliant Smiles were greatly disappointed in the negative review by Bella Harrison. We reviewed our records and could not find any person by this name. Nor could any of us remember a problem like this. Brilliant Smiles Riverside is located at 547 Spinning Road in Dayton. If you choose to write a review and slander a business, please make sure you are talking about the right office.

I was assured by the dental hygienist that they wouldn't push any unnecessary procedures on me while she was cleaning my teeth. (This has been an issue at another dentist in the past.) Then the dentist herself comes in, declares I have 5 cavities and she wants to drill half tomorrow and more later down the road. I have never had a cavity before. They pushed me into making an appointment for early the next morning. I went home, gathered my wits, realized I needed a second opinion and called to cancel the next morning's appointment. They yelled at me for canceling so soon to the appointment! (When it had only been made an hour before I canceled it!) I told them I wasn't interested in any procedures and went to a different dentist.

Then came the bill- it was not itemized or well-done, just to total I owed. I had to go in and demand a list. They overcharge for everything! So badly that my excellent insurance wouldn't cover it all. (It did cover everything at the second dentist.)

A while later they began to call. A LOT. I needed my phone on (but on mute) at work for doing timed reading tests and they were calling so often it was disrupting my students' concentration. At one point I received 3 calls in the matter of 2 hours. Then they began calling my husband- my emergency contact! I got frustrated and called back and tell them I had no interest in returning.

6 months later they began harassing me again- calling several times a day and calling my husband to tell us I needed my biannual appointment. I told them I wasn't interested, but they sent a postcard! I finally had to lie and say I lost my insurance- presto! The calls stopped!

I've never been so disgusted with the way a business is run. It was like having a clingy, greedy, crazy ex. Save yourself the headache (and toothache) and don't go.
