I was admitted into Miami Valley Hospital on 8/11/2017, another horrible experience, for nerve damage and Bells Palsy. I asked all of the physicians could the nerve damage be the result of this supposed hematoma. I was informed that I had nerve damage at the site of the Hematoma injury.
I await a response from the Neurologist, Adam Koss on my return to work, if any, my next steps. It has been difficult in getting a response from him. I need to know. it is my life and I need to take care of my family. Dr. Koss has been provided short term disabilitiy documents. I need those completed ASAP.
I have been diagnosed with Vestibular neuritis. To date, no appointments have been made with any ENT physician. I need that done yesterday.
I still suffer with Bells Palsy as well and the nerve damage in my location of the Hematoma. I suffer with some intermittent memory loss. I am currently in vestibular therapy once per week which is draining. I am currently taking Neurontin, Norvasc, and Indomethacin.
I would like to get my short term disability documents completed by Dr. Koss . The worst experience ever.

Very poor insurance: denied my daughter's claims for a hearing and speech evaluation, called it "behavioral health." When I called and explained that these were diagnostic procedures, they refused anyway because it was "a behavioral health code". The agent I spoke to was "polite", but as unhelpful as possible.
Not worth the money that we spend--I would recommend any other insurer but this one.

WORST EVER!!! THIS TURNS OUT IS NOT AN INSURANCE BUT A DISCOUNT. WHICH ENDS UP TO BE A DISCOUNT OUT OF YOUR BANK ACCOUNT. RIP OFF COMPANY!!

This is a money pit. They expect you to pay $45 per month copays FOR EACH DRUG. I appealed this, and they quickly denied it, with absolutely zero compassion for customers. When I complained, they basically said it was my fault that I should expect to have to buy insurance AND still pay thousands of dollars for drugs. Why should you have insurance if you have to pay hundreds per month for drugs anyway? This is a great example of the UNaffordable Care Act, where they burden seniors to pay for everyone else. Also, you have to use THEIR hospitals and THEIR doctors, not yours. They could care less that you used that doctor for years, they just want to make money off you.

This is by far, the absolute WORST insurance company I've had to deal with. My mother chose this insurance as her Medicare provider and they suck. They cover nothing. I'm the one that's forced to deal with this outfit since mom is no longer capable of making her own decisions. DO NOT use them as your Medicare provider. They don't cover anything. Unless you're healthy and only need a regular checkup, they probably won't cover it. You have been warned!
Not only that but mom lost her card and I've called FOUR TIMES - once a week for the last month - begging to have her card replaced. They make all sorts of promises and - NOTHING. Mom is stuck paying FULL PRICE for her care because these jerks won't send her a new card.
Frankly, I think this outfit is a SCAM. They take Medicare's money then refuse to pay for any treatments. And they don't want to send mom a new card because then they'd have to pay for the office visits. I hate them. Wouldn't waste my money. They don't cover anything.
