This place Is amazing. We have been here multiple times and it gets better each time. We have a 7 and 9 year old and the both love it and my husband and myself love it to. This time going we took 2 extra people and they both thought it was amazing. Thank you for this amazing place. We will return again next year

This place is absolutely enormous! You can find something different to see on every visit. I’ve gone about four times and still haven’t seen it all.
The parking lot is long and skinny. So be prepared for a long walk just to make it to the front door!
The gift shop is pretty big and has a lot of fun stuff. But the cafe is small. This is probably for the best considering food and drinks aren’t allowed anywhere else in the museum.

Wow, this was an amazing visit and an excellent museums. They have a lot of great guided tours you can join if you are interested in learning about a particular era. The planes themselves are just impressive. You can actually stand in the room were President Johnson was sworn in after the assassination of JFK.

Run. Don't walk. Run to visit the National Museum of the Air Force. I finally got to check this off my bucket-list in October of 2017 and was not disappointed.
As you drive towards the museum, you get a sense of the size/scope of what you're about to experience. The museum complex is absolutely huge!
The variety of the aircraft, the way they're displayed and the information that is presented is absolutely stunning. We only spent a 1/2 day at the museum and are planning a return trip back.
The only thing that was lacking was the space-shuttle. Beyond getting a feel for the size/scope of the shuttle, we were disappointed with that. Everything else was phenomenal.

First time visit for my family and me. We enjoyed as much of the exhibits as three toddlers would allow. 😉 I loved the little atrium style cafe, the gift shop, the photo booth, the service and staff. The overall cleanliness of the place was excellent, and the vehicles and aircraft were exceptionally maintained. I also liked that they had free access to strollers, as this made the visit a lot easier with little ones. We are from Iowa and will definitely make the trip, again. Thank you all, at the museum, for making this a great experience.
