First time at this restaurant and it really wasn't a pleasant experience. It took forever to receive any type of food. From appetizers to salads to main course. None of the food came out hot. There was a party of 15 and no one liked the food. I dont know if the cook is to blame or the servers but they could really do better. I have really good taste in food and I was so disappointed.

Great dinner with my honey for my birthday. I had scallops and he had filet topped off with a hot fudge but ball. Yum.

The VERY BEST restaurant in the Dayton area. We love to go to Jay's. It is our own Special place. Absolutely!

Crab platter was a good sized portion of food. I was a bit upset to find the crab legs, which they cut open for you, were chewy due to being over-cooked. The cod was a bit too salty for my taste. The oyster Rockefeller was delicious and the wine selection was decent. For the price, it could have been better. I also felt rushed by our waiter- Cory. We were out to relax and dine and in no hurry. Two people- $160.00. Over priced- most definitely.

Jay's has been our favorite seafood restaurant for many years. The seafood is consistently fresh & delicious. The servers & bartenders are excellent. The owners & management want everything to be enjoyable. They get it right 99.9% of the time. If something is unsatisfactory they correct it. Great wine list & steak too. I highly recommend Jay's.
