Fantastic steaks. Nice atmosphere. Get there early on the weekend. AND YES THEY ARE THE BEST IN OHIO. I think some of these 1 star ratings are comical. You have no taste clearly. Been in business for 70 years for a reason. Maybe a pan fried steak at wafflehouse is more your speed.

EXCELLENT food! Great ambiance and awesome employees. Definitely worth the trip and definitely a Top steakhouse!

The wait was not long...waited at the bar. Food was worth the wait! Prices include everything, and you're lucky if you can finish it. Service and staff were great. Best ribeye ever! We

Behind the times. Would not eat here again. Fresh bread, salad and two sides come with your meal. The "fresh" bread they advertise on the menu is not fresh in the slightest. It was already sitting on the table when we arrived with a paper napkin covering it. Salad is just a bowl of iceberg lettuce. Potato & fries sides were nothing special The steak was the only good part, and cooked to medium rare correctly. No free refills on soda, they charge by the can. And when you get the check YOU BETTER HAVE CASH/CHECK, because THEY DON'T TAKE CREDIT CARDS!! What a joke, this is 2017! They only people eating and working here are 50+ yr old people.

This place did not live up to my expectations as the best steakhouse in Dayton. It might have been the best place in town 20 years ago but now has lost its charm. Very dark I could hardly see my food or the dirt on the floor. Staff look like they were just going through the motions. Weird rules just to sit down. They do not take reservations. The salad was watered down. The steak was nowhere near what my expectations were. I have had better in Dayton. The price was as expected.
