Went to pick up a contacts prescription and even though it says paid in full for my order they want to hold a box until the insurance pays them. Better to go elsewhere that doesn’t penalize you due to them waiting for the insurance to pay them and then give you the rest of your order after several weeks or months.

I am now a loyal customer, Prices for contacts are very competitive, Dr. Broome and his eye care docs and their direct staff are competent and pleasant and answer all of my questions, the ONLY issue is the occasional front office staff member (Chris; I take names when I am treated rudely) who is not on the same page. I am a tough customer when I get pushback, when service is poor, when there is reason. I do my homework, on-line pricing from Lensdirect and Hubble are the same as Dr. Broome's pricing! Finally, I was a walk-in...service was prompt and pleasant. Chris answered my phone call and needs to find another job!

Wow, the person who answers the phone in the Port Orange office is so rude I didn't even finish the process of scheduling an appointment. You're not the only game in town folks. If you don't like your job, move on. Don't burden people with your negativity!

My husband had an emergency situation that we have been through more than once. We are new to this practice but my husband had a vitreous detachment and needed an ophthalmologist. He has been for contacts with the wait time of way too long. It is a Friday also. We called to get referred to an ophthalmologist but, of course, they wanted to see him first advising him to bring $50 since it was considered medical emergency, and it is. They just wanted that money and then after we were there they referred us to an ophthalmologist telling us and I quote, "We can't help him he needs a retina specialist." That kind of burned me up since that is what we were asking for to begin with. Doctor seemed nice in passing. Husband says he is ok. I have no knowledge of him. Just a tech of some sort with an attitude. I hope I can talk him in to finding another eye doc.

I HAVE USED THIS FACILITY FOR AS LONG AS I CAN REMEMBER. I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY ISSUES. I'M NOT SURE WHAT IT IS PEOPLE EXPECT, BUT EVERYONE AT THIS FACILITY IS PRETTY DOWN TO EARTH. THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE DR. BROOME!!!
