They've been taking care of my dog since it was a puppy. Dr. Long is an amazing vet and appreciate all her efforts through the years.

It's a shame that Dr. Rawls passed. He was a caring, compassionate animal lover. True and genuine and not "out for your dollar bills" (from what I experienced) now... Susan Long- I'm not sure what her deal is but when I brought my cat in she was very blunt, I felt rushed and she was DEFINITELY not compassionate as Dr. Rawls. I even sat in the room and wondered if she even liked cats at all- CAT LIVES MATTER. My kitty lived a wonderful life with me for 10 years and I didn't even feel comforted when I made the decision to have her out to sleep. When it was time for "check out", they stated "that'll be $100.00 for today, have a nice day" ....seriously? Of course some vets are in it for the money- I mean, if your going to school to be a doctor, go to be a vet because you don't have to deal with the Medicare system with animals.... Maybe that's why Dr. Long is in... For the $$$$$. Also, not even a bereavement card has arrived.... Dr. Rawls used to send those. I most certainly won't be recommending Rawls anymore and that's sad because he was always amazing.

Save your animals life go somewhere else. My dogs worse of than she was 3weeks ago and $930 later. Now she closer to dieing

Today was my first time going to Dr. Rawl's Vet Clinic.

I had a great experience I found the staff was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. They took the time to answer all my questions with my dog's best interest at heart. There beside manner with my Chihuahua was great they were very gentle making sure that she was being handled correctly. I will definitely recommend this Vet to all my dog owner friends.

I had an appt for that day at 1030 am. That morning, my dog got up to eat and broke her leg. I went to the vets office early and told them I could not carry her as she broke her leg.
After making me wait 2 hours we carry her in on a blanket to have Dr. Long tell me, "She broke her leg, my xray machine is broke, you have to take her somewhere else." When I asked the vet tech to help me take her out and pee, she said "the other office will help you". Long story short, my dog was full of bone cancer, and had to be euthanized. The vet says, given how much pain she is in, yet lets her lay there another 3 hours. Now it is 3:30, I get there and find out Dr. Long's husband on Nova road,at Tomoka Pines, who diagnosed my dog, his staff did not express my dogs bladder either. My beloved dog went 20 hours without peeing, with a broken leg since 8:30 in the morning. I will never go back to Rawls or Tomoka Pines again.
