From a bartenders view, these guys know their stuff. The bar is kept impeccably clean. To me that means pride. It shows in their cocktails and food. I give them a 10

Fantastic food and a wonderful atmosphere. The folks that work here are extremely friendly and service-oriented. They want to make sure that you have a wonderful experience. We tried the signature dish - pork chop - and a few other dishes. The porkchop melts in your mouth and explodes with flavor. Perfectly cooked. Definitely add this restaurant to your list of those to check out

Staff was excellent. Food was good, but pricey for the portions. Inside decór was really cool - very industrial. Loved the open window seating right next to the sidewalk!

Everything at Block and Larder was quality and the staff was super friendly and attentive. Our favorite part was probably the cocktails. They have a rotating list that's themed off of a movie. I couldn't give them a five star because the food was a little bland and underseasoned. I really liked the concepts behind all of the dishes, but the flavor didn't quite live up to the descriptions on the menu. Overall it was a great place for dinner and I'll probably be back soon.

What's the appeal here??? We ordered the bread, but it was stale and almost tasted like it had been frozen before. The mac & cheese was highly recommended and was pretty good, but it comes with a swish of barbecue sauce that's brown in color and is very unappetizing looking. We ordered the fried chicken with steak fries and were disappointed. The steak fries were just potato wedges fried with nothing special about them. And there were only four of them and the fried chicken was disappointing with hardly any flavor. The crust was nice and crunchy and has a good flavor but overall the chicken was a big disappointment also. We ordered one of our beverages it was never brought. Eh. Not worth the money.
