I have lived at this property for nine years and have had a great experience. Most enjoyable the last five years, since Christopher Sandavol has been here, first as leasing agent, then as Asst. Property
Manager. He has always handled any concern quickly and with professionalism that could rival luxury properties that cost twice as much
in rent. Autum the current leasing agent is a "gem" as well:) These units are over-size by today's standards, layed out on lush grounds for residents to enjoy walking, with pets, etc. I have always marveled at the
great value they are, and try and find ample parking like they offer anywhere. Garages available too. (you fellow multi-car owners will know
what I mean).

Since day 1 ive gotten outstanding service from this property, and i move around once a year so im exposed to a lot of different property's. Chris in the leasing office helped me the most, like when i needed wasp nests removed, or things replaced, he never stopped until i was happy. After moving out it took about 3 or 4 months before i could get my security deposit back but that was because of leasing staff who have now been terminated from employment. Quiet neighborhood, despite Kipling being right there and I70 down the street. I always recommend this place to my friends and family. Thank you Newgate!

After moving out it took about 3 or 4 months before i could get my security deposit back but that was because of leasing staff who have now been terminated from employment. Quiet neighborhood, despite Kipling being right there and I70 down the street. I always recommend this place to my friends and family. Thank you Newgate!

This was a real decent place for a few years, now rent has went from $850-$1250 in 4yrs. Thats not the biggest issue. Its the 3 new "Management" companies in 2 years. Theres never maintenance around for anything, the days the pool were open it was green. Havnt had an exercise gym in 5 yrs like its still advertised online for NewGate Apts.The tiny "dogrun" is completely filthy, and even wreaks of urine if you walk by. No dog bags, trashes are full. And worst of the many health hazards is that the dumpsters get picked up once a week and theres 21 apts per dumpster. Trash is just blowing around after the people finish rummaging threw the mess. They rent to just about anyone, so there is always furniture sitting half in the dumpsters or in the parking lot near it. Remnants of the renters coming and going. The joke is, when theres nowhere to park, wait 3months and the new comers will all be gone again. There are abandons here and there. So Last but not least, Vandalism. Its now more than something your careful to secure your cars amd lock your doors. Its a must! Twice I've had slashed tires. Along with 14 other vehicles in our lot that had tires slashed or windows smashed. Reality is its dangerous to have kids here, and pets. The staff are good for saying one thing and its half***** or worse than before you ask for repairs. During the day it appears a 3 of 5 star place, but stay a week. You would more than likely rate it a 1star

Legally, you can withhold your rent until the complex provides a LIVABLE home for you. I would tell them this. My girlfriend suggest mentioning to call to the police and begin a lawsuit to the apartment. You are not wrong, they are.

I have lived here for almost three years. I have had exceptional attention to my maintenance needs. I have met some great neighbors. We live next to a great trail and a park to the east and west of us. We have grata access to the highways and yet in a sleepy little section of Wheatridge just outside of Golden and Arvada. Chris Sandoval and Autumn Chase have always been available to answer questions and to offer suggestions on items like getting a garage or moving up to a two bedroom. With rents being in the rise, these prices are best around. The staff are always looking to improve our property. Well done Newgate.
