Nothing like it! Books, booze (well, beer and wine), poets, authors, writers and inspirational folks. Cheese plates. Book recommendations for the 10 yr old great niece.... .awesome staff.

I've been going to Denver BookBar since it opened and I've never had anything less than a great experience. The food is tasty, they have a good selection of caffeinated/alcoholic beverages, the staff is all really friendly and I love the ambience. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to study, a spot to meet up with friends or to curl up with a good book and a glass of wine.

BookBar is a wonderful place to meet up for a drink and conversation or to find a new book to read over a glass of wine or beer. It's a really great combination of local book store and small wine & beer bar. The staff is super friendly but not in your face. In fact, the whole place has a very open and comfortable feel to it. I love having this in my neighborhood. I've been to two author talks here which have both been very enjoyable and intimate. One of which, my wife and I just stumbled upon as we were walking by!
