We used to live across the street and when we walked our dog nearby, she would pull her leash towards Downtown Dog, that's how we knew how much she loves it there. My best friend's dog is also a regular and it is fun to see the pictures on Instagram and Facebook giving us a glimpse of Margot's social circle when she's not with us. We also always get honest reports back of how the day went from how she ate to her behavior. It shows us that they're really tuned into each dog and everything that happens throughout the day which is exactly what we want in daycare and boarding (or "at camp" as we call it).

Kim is hands down the best groomer we have ever had the pleasure of working with. We've brought our Goldendoodle to her for over a year, and it's the best cut she's had (and she's 6 years old). Even MORE impressive was what she did with our Newfypoo/Newfiedoodle puppy. You can see in the before picture that Pepper had beautiful hair, and a LOT of it. It was her first cut and my husband and I were understandably nervous. Kim put us at ease and transformed our furball to a total Tina Turner-esque glamazon. We can finally see Pepper's eyes! And she was treated with such love and patience, she was happy as a clam when I dropped her off and picked her up. I can't say enough good things about Downtown Dog and Kim. If you're looking for a reliable, thorough, caring, and available groomer, you've gotta come here.

Kim at Downtown Dog is the BEST GROOMER in town! And me and my 10.5-year-old rescue DoxiePoo have been through many! Hands down the BEST PRICE in town! Kim goes ABOVE & BEYOND to accommodate my hectic schedule so she can groom Abu! She works on ONE DOG AT A TIME, so Abu only has to stay there for 1.50 hours max (and isn't locked up in a kennel for 4 hours as is the case with other groomers). Kim is loving and gentle, and her price is SOOOO reasonable for what you get. She is VERY skilled at all types of cuts and is CONSISTENT. Cannot say ENOUGH wonderful things! Go to Kim!! (But leave an appointment slot open for Abu!) ;)

Downtown Dog & Cat has been great for our dog, Phyllis. She goes to daycare once a week, is always excited to get there, and comes home happy and healthy. The folks who work there are always happy to see her and professional in interacting with me and my wife. Phyllis hurt her paw once while at daycare (through no fault of Downtown Dog & Cat's) and their handling of that situation could not have been better; I was immediately notified, they took Phyllis to our regular vet, picked Phyllis up once the vet had checked her out, and looked after her in the office for the rest of the day. I really appreciate the service they provide.

The staff at Downtown Dog are always incredibly friendly and happy to see our dog. We know our dog loves it here, as she is always tugging on the leash when she sees we are at doggy daycare. The staff always goes above and beyond, even helping us out in a sticky situation when we couldn't pick our dog up right on time - highly recommended!!
