The taste is so authentic. My Chinese friend said that the taste is like what he had in China. He still claim that this is the best Xiao long bao in Denver. I recommend everyone to try it. REMEMBER!! u can order just one time on Friday.
The trick is bring who can speak chinese with you. That helps me alot.

A woman asked me what I wanted to order, once they noticed I was waiting. I waited for at least 15 minutes. The lady walked away without taking my order because my friends hadn't arrived yet but I wanted to get an appetizer for me and my kid. I called after her and asked for some water. She said ok, but never gave us any water. Instead she approached our table again 20 minutes later and asked us to move because she wanted to seat someone else at the table since the people we were sharing it left and a bigger party came in. I just left. It was obvious she didn't want us to be there.
Wasn't even given water. Was sitting at a table for for 30 minutes.

Food is nice though slightly on the expensive side. The special beer is good and does have the Asian touch to it. Friendly owners and not as what I've read. Place is small though so might have to wait during peak hours. All in all one of the better place for good authentic simple Taiwanese cuisine. Can be a bit difficult to find if it's your first time.

Best dumplings around! But don't be too angry if they turn you away. Sometimes they get tired of being a restaurant for very long. Go early. I've seen them say they're closed as soon as 7:44 (my last attempt).

The two people that run this place are very set in their ways and won't hesitate to tell you if they think you're ordering the food wrong or that they don't do takeout.
The food is amazing and totally worth it. Once you get used to their demeanor they are very nice people! I suggest first timers go with a friend who's been there and can show you the ropes.
Seriously though get the Potstickers and Soup dumplings. 110% worth it.
It's a really small place so we try to bring 5 people at the most.
