Holy cow, I don't think I have the proper words to describe how amazing my experience here was. Lucile's was recommended to me for lunch by a friend in Denver and so she and I grabbed some grub while I was in town. There was no way she could have prepared me for how delicious the biscuits were, which she raved about as is, or how incredible the shrimp and grits were. Will DEFINITELY be revisiting next time I'm in town!

Really and truly one of the best breakfast places I've ever been to. Everything was awesome! The apple butter for the homemade biscuits was definitely the best as our group of friends demolished the entirety of the jar. Definitely going back here when I travel to Denver.

Fantastic service - I was grateful for the steady flow of chicory coffee! The food is freshly made and consistently good; we tried beignets and two different omelettes. There's a children's menu and both indoor and outdoor seating. It can get busy though, so if you are short on time, get there first thing when they open.

I was a big fan of Lucille's. It's not too far from my office so it works for lunch. Today they missed the mark. I had shrimp and grits. The shrimp were very small and the andouille was burnt black. It should not have come to the table like that. The grits were mediocre at best. I give 3 stars because they were a favorite and I will try again in the future. Had this been my first visit it would have been my last.

This place is amazing, one of our favorites to have breakfast. It's always crowded, even on week days, but we never waited for longer than 5 minutes to be seated. Upon entering the door at least two staff members greet you and find a minute for a small talk. The food is great and reasonably priced. With the amount of people, the waiting time to be served is really brief, no longer than 20 minutes. As a restaurant courtesy you get a plate of biscuits. Each table has a variety of jams and salsas. The strawberry rhubarb jam is delicious (we buy a jar to go almost every time). The basic coffee is bold as espresso. Must visit!
