I loved the Celtic, the owners & all of the employees, they had the best fish~chips in Denver and friendly service. Great place to have parties!
Just hope they reopen soon downtown !

Mongolian beef was the worst I ever had hands down really up set 99% vegetables and little tiny pieces off beef I don't mind vegetables but that's not Mongolian beef. Worst ever!!!!!

The last time I wrote a bad review was in July, 2009 for a chain restaurant that didn't have soap dispensers in the restrooms, so this is rare for me. Last night I went with a recommendation from Bob the Bartender and ordered a Steak and Murphy's pie. It consists of steak, gravy, and mushrooms, covered by a thin dough crust.
After about a third of the way through, I started to wonder, "Where's the streak?" This being a pie I couldn't just look at the rest of the meal and say "Oh, there's no steak in this pie, may I have something else." I'm a scientist so I decided to increase my sample size and continue eating so I could give the most informative complaint possible. I was hoping for maybe a square inch of meat but once I was finished eating my gravy and mushroom pie, I only had about two tooth size pieces, roughly a square centimeter of meat. I let another bar worker "Gabby" know that I would not pay $15 for gravy and mushrooms and that she could charge me for a side salad but I would like to order something else (something more predictable). The buff chicken strip burger was good. But at the end of the meal the mushroom pie was still on my bill and I asked to have it taken off. The manager Curtis refused saying that I ate the whole thing and should have complained earlier. I found this ridiculous as it's basically beef and gravy stew covered in dough. It can be highly inconsistent, unlike a burger. I guess you're paying for the atmosphere here. Don't let this place ruin your evening. Go Rapids!

If you're happy and you know it don't go here!! Frequented this place for the last 9 years so much so that Leslie would have my drink on the bar before I sat down circa 2009. Time hop to 5/11/16.... Well, I just brought my new execs from Y&R (yeah, Mad Men Y&R) over after the Rockies game tonight just to literally be ROBBED by the staff. Not only did they decline us double drinks but they tried to bank a $70 tip when we passed a hundo their way just to pay the bill so we could leave... Without finishing our drinks. Way to lose dudes. WAY. TO. LOSE. I'm embarrassed for you. #sorrywewerelaughingandhappy
