Staff is great! Food is very good. Too bad Marriott makes their staff and guests suffer through the loud noise of construction.

Absolutely horrible, horrible and horrible!!!
Worst trained waitress ever!!! Got the chicken parm because she could answer any questions about the other dishes! Chicken came out and tasted like they used canned Italian breadcrumbs on, I know the taste because I use them at home, but certainly don't expect at a supposedly nice Italian restaurant! But the chicken was edible as opposed to the pasta that was actually gummy eew YUCK after one forkful couldn't eat any more of it!
What's worse is the waitress could see I didn't eat it but did nothing or even ask about. Then didn't bring me my check and started setting tables! I had to wait anther 15 min in this dreadful place!
I had walked here from my hotel hoping to find better food because I was to tired to go downtown BIG mistake! Trust me, take an uber and go somewhere else!!!

Vivace! on the menu had all the classic dishes you would find in Italian American contemporary but without the usual overreaching for flavor with robust or explosive flavors but in finding the right balance in the blend of simple ingredients.
The steamed mussels were just right without being too salty and too simple. Accompanied with the classic Caesar it is very recommendable. I ordered the NY strip steak which was cooked just right and most likely was placed aside before serving as it retained all it's juices. The spinach and mushrooms were great to sit aside the generous portion of the meat cut.
The manager came and asked how the food and the overall stay at the hotel was which I find refreshing, having stayed at many hotels on my trip. My server for the night was Samantha who provided great suggestions, was very professional while keeping everything comfortable and friendly, and made the dinner experience 5 stars.

Upscale Italian & American dishes. Quiet & beautiful restaurant with lots of tv's & quiet relaxing music. The food was really great & came out in a timely manner. Nick was a very attentive server & answered every question I had. Extensive wine & beer list has something for everyone & the dessert was fabulous! Will definitely be coming back for more!
