This is a wonderful veterinary clinic. My son got home from his night shift ER job and his husky Leo was pretty sick. We called this clinic because it was closest and they got him right in on a Saturday morning. Everyone from the front office staff, to the tech, to the doctor were just great. They explained everything we could do and what it would cost. My son decided to hold off on the blood work and they were super nice about it, ends up the “sample” we brought gave them enough information for a diagnosis. He’s back home now and feeling much better. Thanks to the staff for getting us in so quick and being so kind. Oh and the prices were very reasonable!! We will definitely make this our Vet.

Dr. Schoonmaker is AMAZING! I was so worried with just moving here from Oregon I wouldn't find a bird vet since they're so rare to find. Not only did we stumble upon her but she takes such good care and concern for our two birdie babies, Blaze and Summer. She gets down on your level making sure you are knowledgeable about what's going on with your pet. She makes suggestions as to what might be good for your pet but never forces anything on you or pressure you to pay for unnecessary tests. She makes sure the pet is comfortable with her and their surroundings before rushing to a diagnosis. She's truly a gem and we can't thank her enough for joining the VCA Anderson team.

I booked an appointment for my 12 week old puppies on the AKC Vet Certificate for a first visit. We arrived a little early since puppies are unpredictable with travel. We'd filled out the paperwork and had been in the office for 6-7 minutes. A couple came in with a German Shepherd and were kind with the puppies. Then a lady came in with two small dogs ON a FLEXI LEADS that were barking, jumping, lunging and OUT OF CONTROL. They went after my pups and were within inches of them after the pups had FEARFULLY BACKED INTO A CORNER. There was no concern on the part of the staff to protect other clients or correct or intervene with this VERY INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR upon entering a clinic where what is beyond the door is unknown. I asked for my certificates back and I left the facility disgusted. There is no sign asking clients to control their animals and no one bothered to correct the woman. Why is it always LITTLE DOGS AND THEIR OWNERS BEHAVE SO VERY BADLY AROUND OTHERS? I would make this a zero star if the category existed. The front office needs training. I cannot speak for the doctors or personnel in the back.

The worst. Take your animals here only if you want them to have more severe problems like blindness or worse. Open your checkbook too. Run they bad!!!

Everyone there is A+++ EXCELLENT!!! They treat your family member(s) [aka - fur-babies &/or 4-legged son/daughter(s)] like they are their very own...EXTRA-special!! And that means the world to us!! If we ever need a safe place to board our baby-girl, VCA is where she'll stay EVERY time!! We love all of the doc's & the tech's, everyone there is top notch!! They've helped us navigate through some tough health issues w/our baby-girl & helped us nurse her back to better health, so for that alone, they ROCK BIG TIME!!1 Can't say enough great things about them!!! We owe them big time!!
