EMC as a whole is an excellent company. They offer fair rates, great claims handling and more. I have been with other companies that raise their rates quite frequently. EMC tends to remain stable in their rates. As far as other reviews go (George Back) regarding the company not removing someone from a policy; how would you feel if you found out they were removed without your permission? You; as a policy holder have the responsibility to contact your agent or company to make changes. It's your own fault you kept paying for a policy you were not paying attention to.

The worse insurance company i have ever seen we have a life policy with them since 1990 ,My kids have been on their policy they turned 18 twenty years ago but they didn't take them off so we have been paying extra ,and this company charged us 3,000 dollars in interest that lady that rated them a 1 was on track they don't care about their policy holders i would drop them but if i do i loose over 6,000 dollars

I have several increasing whole life policies and a flexible annunity with EMC. I love this company. An actual person answers the phone and provides great customer service. The flexible annuity allows you to make contribution anytime to a maximum of $30,000 per year. The whole life policies are increasing whole life. The death benefits grows each year. You pay a little more for this kind of policy but the cash value grows faster as well. It also has a "reduced paid-up" so after 10 or 15 years you can opt for this benefit. The death benefit will be reduced but will be substantially more than the cash value. You then have permanent insurance but never have to make another payment.

Failed in Full Discloser. My parents just found out that they invested in a policy and this company lost their money.
