I love coming here after work for sushi and drinks occasionally. It's located in a trendy area of Des Moines near Drake University so it has a fun but laid back atmosphere. I always recommend this place for sushi.

Literally just wanted sushi for my birthday today; went to the restraunt just now which is supposed to be open, and I was clearly disappointed. Thanks for the awesome birthday surprise of no sushi for me.

First time I tried to go they were closed with no sign even though it was during the normal business hours. Second time we went the service was lame, and slow. All of the sushi rolls were basically the same ingredients just destined differently. Glad I had a groupon or I would have been angry at the price. Was overpriced and not worth it.

Miso soup tasted old and we didn't even finish it. Sushi rolls were bad too. The service was terrible. This is the 1st and last time we will ever go. There are much better places in dsm for sushi.

Pretty good. I just moved here and still kind of new to Sushi. The owner is super nice and patience. Shrimp tempura is great.
