Don't let the quite-rundown exterior deter you from this otherwise great eatery. The inside, while not ritzy, is just fine. Starting with the warm, crisp chips, and salsa with just enough kick to get your attention, the food is delicious. Service was fast and friendly and prices reasonable. Maybe I wouldn't cross the whole town for it, but well worth the stop, conveniently close to lots of Des Moines' many other fine amenities.

Ok food and service. The restaurant itself was dirty. The wall of our booth had food and drink splattered on it. Despite seeing the table being wiped down before being seated, it still had crumbs and residue on it. The carpet in the building is very worn. A face lift is really needed.

Monica was awesome! Food came out quickly and was delicious. Margaritas are tasty too.

This is a single visit review as if now, but I plan to be back! Great service. Awesome lunch prices and options. The chicken soup was awesome. Great beer prices.
