This used to be a great place to eat but not so much anymore. Today I had the Chicken Fried Steak and eggs with pancakes instead of toast. The steak was overcooked, the pancakes were tough and rubbery (caused by using old batter) and there were only about half of the hash browns I usually get. There was only one other table occupied at the time our order was taken, but it took nearly 30 minutes to get our food.

Its to bad because the waiting staff is consistently in high spirit and always friendly . But the restaurant is in need of updates its just looking like there still in the 70s. Food is always hot but not what you order and that seems to be consistent if you order breakfast and instead of hashbrowns u get potatoes your not going to complain because your hungry and don't want to wait. Parking lot is in really bad shape I've received 2 door dings in the last 6 months. But ill be back just try to fix some issues Home Plate Dinner

The people were awesome! The food was not :( while I was there they manager or owner? Asked how it was and I said not good. Did not taste right, Chicky and noodles. She got some to test and agreed not right, said probably made with cream chick instead of broth like should be.
What was bad is even though they KNOW it was not right they didn't offer to comp or discount or anything and that was very disappointing. I also paid 2.and change for a soda totaling near 10$ for a meal that was improperly prepared.
