Great BBQ! Had a local friend take me here and it was as good as the best places in KC or Memphis. I had the burnt ends and they were wonderful.

The Food: I had higher hopes for Smokey flavors but over all everything was good. I really enjoyed the ribs and green beans. Just a heads up the complimentary cornbread has a light coating of sugar, just enough for a crunch but not enough for it to bee too sweat.
Cleanliness: Everything we used was disposable and clean. We sat outside with flies and bees. Another group was so irritated they complained and the guy confirmed that it’s been bad this year and placed some honey away from the tables to help.
Service: I could easily complain about the service but it was only one visit and one person. Overall service was good.

Brisket was wonderful!! Went on a Wednesday to get the greens but wasn't going to pay $3 for um. The yams were sweet and the mac and cheese was creamy. Only bad spot was the corn bread, I'll skip that next time I go back.

The pulled pork is pretty cleanly trimmed. Baked beans: excellent. Mac n cheese: pretty good. Free corn bread: amazing. Ribs: pretty good. Chocolate pie: okay. Service and staff: awesome, welcoming, attentive.

WOW! Yes, this is one of those places that makes you say wow. We had two specials ($6.99 each): the burnt tips and smoked creamed chicken over biscuit. Both were incredible. They offer a complimentary sweet corn bread. This was one of those meals that makes you glad you randomly chose to eat here after the first bite! I highly recommend this place. It's a rather small hole in the wall place that only seats about 20 people on the inside. They do have an outdoor patio as well.
