I was really pleased with everything about the place. It was crowded, but the service was good and the wait wasn't terrible. The food was priced right and tasted good. The beer selection was large and diverse with lots of local choices. I'll definitely be back.

Good beer selection. Crack fries are great. Other food is just okay. Grand Rapids location is much better. One they stated expanding, there seems to be less attention to quality and consistency.

They had a huge selection of beers, 130 options to be exact. We saw our waiter just about 3 times during our visit, we were brought our drinks and food by others. I did find myself without any water 2 or 3 times, I started to chew on the ice wishing it was water! The food was great, lots of interesting selections and combinations. Everyone who worked here was very pleasant.

Great food, unbeatable beer selection. Of the four times I've been there, service has been good, but not great. I don't know if it's because they're so busy, but the servers have seemed a bit annoyed by our presence. Being former restaurant people ourselves, we know when the guest is being obnoxious, and that's not us. Still, go to hopcat. It's tasty and crazy with the beers.

The food here is great. The crack fries and burgers are the best! I love the mushroom and Swiss burger with a black bean patty. The beer selection here is obviously unbeatable, however, unless you are SUPER into beer that much variety can be a little intimidating and just inflates the overall drink prices..but worth checking out if you've never been at least for the food. HopCat also has a pretty legit brunch on weekends.
