Since the Starbuck's on Griswald was always closed, and now closed for good, I would wander into the Rowland Cafe. What a great place to enjoy your coffee. Located in the the first floor retail area, the scenery inside the Guardian Building is truly amazing. You will take pictures/video's the first time you are there, guaranteed. If you are familiar with Detroit architecture, you will recognize the murals. The coffee and muffins are very good and the staff is always friendly.
